Simon, as the CEO of Chuta Group, had once sacrificed his career for love when he married Sloane. However, years into their marriage, Sloane's first love, Vance, returned to the country, and the two became entangled in a long-standing affair. Even their son turned against him, treating another man as his father.

Faced with a disloyal wife and an ungrateful son, Simon's patience finally wore thin. He resolved to divorce Sloane and reclaim everything he had sacrificed for her. When Simon asserted his authority as CEO and announced his decision to divorce, Sloane was overcome with deep regret.
