Amy Watt's husband dies in a car accident, and to get revenge on the Parkers, she swaps her daughter with theirs. Twenty years later, Cindy Parker suffers from bone cancer and is mistreated. Carly Watt pretends to be the real daughter.

The Parkers learn the truth, regret their actions, and Michael Parker turns himself in. Cindy starts a new life in an orphanage.
