"Lin Yue transfers her husband Su Zhe's villa and luxury car to her lover Zhang Hao. Unexpectedly, when Su Zhe returns to the villa to pick up something, he accidentally runs over and kills Zhang Hao's dog. Relying on Lin Yue's backing, Zhang Hao arrogantly declares that a human life is worth less than a dog's.

He smashes Su Zhe's car and forces Su Zhe and his secretary Lin Wei to wear mourning clothes and hold a vigil for the dog, humiliating them in every way possible. The abuse continues until Su Zhe finally reveals his true identity. Only then does Zhang Hao realize that Su Zhe is the real owner of the villa and the luxury cars—and that Su Zhe is actually the chairman of Haidong Group."
