Gu Shaoyu, heir to the Gu Corporation, rebels against his family's arrangements by hiding his identity and working as a ride-hailing driver. He unexpectedly reunites with Shen Yao, his high school deskmate with whom he shared mutual affection. Now an HR specialist at Gu Corporation, Shen Yao sympathizes with his situation and risks violating company policy by falsifying his academic credentials to help him secure a warehouse position. This act triggers jealousy from Bai Yanlang of the Sales Department and unwanted attention from HR Director Manager Jin, who conspire to report the incident in an attempt to blackmail Shen Yao.

At the critical moment, Gu Shaoyu drops his disguise and leverages his power as the corporate heir to expose Manager Jin's corruption and Bai Yanlang's connections. He saves Shen Yao's career. With his identity revealed, Gu Shaoyu confesses his true feelings to Shen Yao. The two overcome class barriers and commit to a two-way journey of protecting their love while staying true to themselves, culminating in a unique "ride-hailing proposal" that seals their lifelong bond.
