Ethan, a seasoned street performer specializing in monkey shows, entrusted his entire life savings, the fruit of decades of hard work, to his son. At his grandson's month-old celebration banquet, he was humiliated by his daughter-in-law and in-laws in front of everyone for lacking retirement savings, a source of pride for his generation. To add insult to injury, his son shattered his cherished monkey show performance chest, an essential tool for his craft, right in front of everyone and drove him out of the house. Devastated and at his lowest, Ethan resolved to revive his treasured craft. His performances became a sensation, bringing him newfound fame and financial stability. However, the wedding business owner he worked with betrayed his trust by maliciously withholding his rightful earnings.

Fortunately, Hana, a compassionate businesswoman, stepped in to support him. She supported Ethan in a relentless legal battle to defend his rights and later joined forces with him to establish a cultural company. Meanwhile, Ethan's son lost his job, and his in-laws fell victim to a fraudulent investment scheme, landing them in prison. Desperate and out of options, his son humbly turned to Ethan for help, initiating a path toward reconciliation. Despite everything, Ethan chose to support his wayward son. Ethan himself was eventually recognized as an outstanding provincial-level master of folk arts, dedicating himself to preserving and passing down the traditional art of monkey performances, a cultural heritage.
