Chen Dong personally fronted over $15,000 to help Hongtu secure a multimillion-dollar deal, only to be falsely accused by Principal Lin Xue and subsequently fired. The contract with Pengcheng explicitly stated that any non-Chen Dong-led classes would result in a million-yuan penalty. When Lin Xue attempted to replace Chen Dong with Li Hao, the students rejected Li Hao as their instructor, forcing him to step down. Desperate, Lin Xue turned back to Chen Dong, even going as far as to demand that Li Hao make a public apology. However, by then, Chen Dong had already been recruited by Jincheng with an annual salary of $700,000 plus company shares.

In a final act of malice, Lin Xue spread false accusations of misconduct against Chen Dong, claiming he harassed a female student. Her lies unraveled when it was revealed that the woman in the photo was her own biological sister, exposing her deceit. Ultimately, Lin Xue was convicted of defamation and fraud, leading to her imprisonment and the downfall of Hongtu, which ultimately went bankrupt. Meanwhile, Chen Dong relied on his hard-earned skills and impeccable reputation to help Jincheng flourish and achieve remarkable success.
