Summary notes

Heiress Elias Weaver is madly infatuated with Alexander, her father's iron‑willed close friend. The two fall deeply into a forbidden romance, but break apart due to a carefully orchestrated "bigamy scam." Facing a family bankruptcy crisis, Aurelia is forced into a political marriage with a politician, even planning to end her own life after saving her family.

In the end, the affectionate politician magnanimously lets go and resolves the crisis. With misunderstandings cleared, Aurelia and Elias finally find happiness together.
