Summary notes

After two years of enduring Isla's provocations and her husband's neglect, Lydia decisively ended her marriage. Her ex-husband, dismissing her resolve as temporary, was proven wrong when she rebuilt her life as a leading andrologist.

He later discovered Isla had both falsified her credentials and fabricated a story about saving his life. In an attempt at reconciliation, he visited Lydia's office, where she greeted him with a coolly professional offer of surgical services.
