Summary notes

Elara’s fiancé Julian imprisons two mermen, hoping they turn female for him, ignorant of their unique gender-shifting rule. Elara secretly heals them, lets them stay male, breaks up with Julian and sets them free, after which the two mermen come back to claim her as their mate.

Elara’s true identity rescues them, bringing the trio a happy ending, while the mermen’s past capture was merely a sincere test of her love.
