Princess Violet returned to her country for her father Colton's remarriage. Hazel, who was about to become his empress, mistook Violet for Colton's lover. Hazel killed Violet's maid and subjected Violet to relentless abuse.

When Colton came looking for Hazel, she hid Violet away. After learning Violet's true identity from Colton, Hazel concealed Violet to cover her crimes but was eventually discovered by Colton. Both she and her family were executed.
