Katie got into trouble at the mall after clashing with a rude child and her unreasonable parent. The store owner Esme, wrongly thinking Katie was Dean's mistress, joined forces with the parent to frame and blackmail her.

In fact, Katie was Dean's stepmother. She quickly used her real identity to silence the arrogant parent and child, then exposed and stopped the illegal schemes Esme and Dean had been running to exploit ordinary people.
