Summary notes

Aldric sacrified everything to save three dying elf shifters. The reward for his kindness? Whispers through the wall as the three elves mocked his weakness and plotted to desert him for his rich brother. Fine.

He hands them over. In return, he takes a cold-blooded naga into his life. While his family expects him to break, Aldric plays the ultimate long game that's gonna make him the king.
