The Wild West Wind

Li Xifeng entered the palace bent on avenging her father, but was unexpectedly chosen as a peace-bride princess and sent to the Turks, where she was to spy on military intelligence. She hoped to use Khan Jilie’s influence to exact her revenge, only to realize that Jilie’s proposal was actually a political tactic—since his elder brother was a hostage in the Tang court, marrying her was his way of counterbalancing the Tang emperor.

Meanwhile, Jilie’s flattery was just a cover to gather information through her supposed royal identity, but he soon found out she was an impostor. Both carrying heavy burdens of resentment, they journeyed from pretense to genuine love, and in the end, found the happiness they had long desired.
