Summary notes

Dying Emperor Kaia asks guardian Isai to protect his empire for three years, offering his daughter Sophia as bride. For three years, Sophia treats Isai as a useless consort, unaware of the contract.

When the contract ends, Isai withdraws. Only then does Sophia realize the man she scorned was the god who protected her empire-too late.
