Summary notes

Charlotte, once the Sword Venerable, lost her family to old foes and vowed to protect her brother Caspian. Years later, Caspian joined a sect and injured a man with powerful ties. When Charlotte learned the truth, they argued fiercely.

At a tournament, after Caspian lost, his opponent—paid to kill him—pressed the attack. Charlotte stepped in, defeated the assailant, and discovered her brother had provoked a formidable enemy.
