After being betrayed and sold by her cruel stepmother to a vile old man, 18-year-old valedictorian Vicky Mendes is rescued by Thor, the cursed God of Thunder. Thor discovers that Vicky is his True Vessel—the only woman who can absorb the deadly lightning killing him. To escape her nightmare, Vicky agrees to a seven-day contract marriage with him.
But as Thor protects her from her bullies and enemies, their bargain becomes real love. When the full moon rises, Thor must choose: save Asgard, or save the girl he was destined to sacrifice.
