Zhou Shunian is a locally renowned divorce lawyer, married for five years to her CEO husband, Fu Mingran, without ever meeting him. One day, Zhou Shunian received a message from her superior at the law firm: someone was offering ten million yuan specifically requesting her to represent him in a divorce case. To her utter shock, the client turned out to be her own husband.

Posing under her anonymous identity ["divorce lawyer angle"], Zhou Shunian ended up representing herself in her own divorce case. After numerous twists and misunderstandings, Fu Mingran finally realized Zhou Shunian's identity as the lawyer. This marked the first step on his long journey to win her back.
