In her past life, Evelyn was married to Professor Richard for thirty years. At fifty, she discovered his affair with her student, Emily. Refusing to divorce, she ended up with her husband disabled in a car accident, caring for him for fifteen years. Even on his deathbed, he resented her, and her children blamed her for their father's death. In her later years, she was paralyzed, kicked out of her home, and after her death, her ashes were discarded by her children.

Reborn, Evelyn returns to the day of her husband's fiftieth birthday, the day he confessed his infidelity. Faced with his confrontation, her children's bias and indifference, she no longer clings to the past. She decisively signs the divorce papers, severing ties with her family and living authentically. Ultimately, the cold-hearted Richard family reaps the consequences of their actions.
