Beauty counter girl Mia drunkenly stumbles into wealthy heir Ethan's room and flees at dawn, leaving behind her grandmother's daisy brooch. Ethan has secretly loved her for three months; he uses a fake cufflink to blackmail her into posing as his girlfriend at a family banquet, just to keep her close. At the banquet, the daisy brooch stuns Ethan's mother Victoria—thirty years ago, she won a female workers' rights lawsuit for Mia's grandmother, and the daisy was their keepsake. Mia's genuine, down-to-earth charm wins over the crowd, provoking Lydia's hostility.

Victoria exposes the cufflink scam and hires Mia as a beauty consultant. Drawing on a thousand customer surveys, Mia pinpoints foundation shade gaps and dazzles everyone. Lydia publicly humiliates Mia's humble background, but Ethan fiercely defends her, admitting he admires her self-reliance most. They confess their love on the street; a three-generation bond begins to surface, and old family secrets quietly emerge.
