Twenty-year-old Aaliyah was thrown out by her adoptive family over a misunderstanding, but just as she hit rock bottom, her biological father found her, and she learned she was the long-lost daughter of a wealthy household. After returning home, she used her kindness, wit, and medical skills to cure her mother's chronic illness and smooth over the family's conflicts, then cleared up the old misunderstanding at the formal recognition banquet.

Rather than sink to past grievances, she defended her dignity through the law and reason, eventually earning her family's deep love and society's respect, and found true love along the way.
