Daughter-in-law Jenifer was at a hotel to present a congratulatory gift when her mother-in-law's close friend, Sloane, witnessed her and accused her of enticing Kenneth, which caused her mother-in-law to mistakenly view her as a mistress. Despite Jenifer clarifying her identity, the appearance of reporters intensified the misunderstanding. Her mother-in-law was certain that Jenifer had manipulated her son into withholding money from her and had also seduced her husband, leading to Jenifer's tragic miscarriage.

The truth was only uncovered when her husband arrived. Bereft of her child, Jenifer, with a steadfast look, insisted that her mother-in-law atone for the loss of their child!
