Mary was once a legend in the underground boxing world. After marrying Martin, a match-fixer, she gradually fell under his control and suppression, eventually forced to retire and fade into ordinary life. Years later, she single-handedly raised her daughter Joanna, who also grew into a fighter. However, during a crucial match, Joanna was brutally beaten into a coma by her opponent Butcher Shelly. She then tested positive for banned substances, resulting in a lifetime suspension and exorbitant medical bills. Mary slowly realized this was no accident—it was an elaborate scheme orchestrated by her ex-husband Martin to manipulate matches and reap financial gains. To save her daughter, Mary was forced to return to the ring, entering a clandestine tournament controlled by Martin.

Throughout the fights and behind the scenes, Mary faced constant humiliation, oppression, and manipulation. Yet, relying on her unyielding will and gradually returning strength, she defeated opponent after opponent. In her second match, she overcame her old nemesis Shirley, who then awakened to the truth and exposed Martin’s long history of using drugs and violence to control fighters. On the eve of the final bout, Mary discovered she was pregnant. Still, she chose to compete. On the night of the championship match, standing face-to-face with her former abuser Martin, she completed her transformation from a victim to a fighter, ultimately defeating him and reclaiming her dignity and autonomy. Her daughter woke up, the boxing gym was rebuilt, and Mary embraced a new beginning.
