After a natural disaster, a loving couple was accidentally separated, each believing the other had perished in the calamity. From then on, they lived apart, and despite their deep feelings for each other, neither remarried. Twenty years later, both in their fifties, they unexpectedly meet again, though they don't recognize each other.

They quickly get married, unaware that the other is still alive. Initially wanting to annul the marriage, they gradually develop love for each other through the passage of time and their growing connection.
