Leon is a village doctor from Lijiazhuang with exceptional medical skills, but he does not have a medical practice license. He treats villagers on credit, and they owe him a lot of money. As a result, Leon's wife divorced him. In his quest to gain custody of their child, he sought repayment from the villagers, but not only did they refuse to pay him back, but under the instigation of the private hospital owner Zeken, they also reported him. Leon was sentenced to 20 years in prison for practicing medicine illegally. At a crucial moment in court, a patient suddenly fell ill and no one could treat him. Leon stepped in and successfully treated the patient, leading police officer Jiang Shengnan to drop the charges against him, but she ordered him not to practice medicine again. Leon’s miraculous healing skills garnered him widespread fame after this incident. The Sunshine Medical Group offered him a salary of ten million, but before starting, he needed to resolve some old issues. In front of the villagers, he burned all the IOUs, which made headlines and went viral on the internet. However, before the villagers could celebrate, they all started falling ill, and only Leon could cure them.

When they sought his help, Leon decisively refused. Zeken suggested that the villagers seek out the media and television stations to morally blackmail Leon and smear his reputation. However, Leon quickly countered their attempts. Meanwhile, the Sunshine Medical Group is owned by the Lin family. When the Lin family patriarch fell critically ill, the eldest daughter, Lily, sought Leon’s help. Leon saved the dying patriarch, earning a reward of one hundred million. Lily decided to host a "Divine Doctor Banquet" to introduce Leon to the elite of Jiangcheng, where Leon successfully confronted his ex-wife. After the banquet, Zeken tried to resort to underhanded tactics by encouraging the villagers to join him in a program to jointly tarnish Leon's reputation. Unexpectedly, the villagers had already been won over by Leon. They exposed Zeken’s instigation behind their report against Leon and revealed his involvement in selling counterfeit medicine. Zeken's company's stock price plummeted, and he was arrested and imprisoned.
