Su Bai was transported to a world of beast tamers and immortal cultivation, only to find himself cursed as an ordinary, powerless orange tabby cat with no spiritual energy. Upon her rebirth, the proud and aloof High Priestess of the Beast Tamer Sect, Luo Qinghan, deemed him a worthless burden. In front of a crowd, she tore up their contract and mercilessly hurled him off a seemingly bottomless cliff.

On the brink of death, Su Bai awakened the **Chaos Taotie System**, named after a mythical beast of insatiable hunger, granting him the divine skill of "Devour"—he could devour all things under heaven: hyenas, spiritual medicines, cultivators, demonic creatures. All things became sustenance for his growth! Defying all odds, Su Bai clawed his way up from being a lowly Rank 1 Devouring Beast to a formidable Rank 3 Fire-Swallowing Beast. Within a secret realm, he shattered boundaries, defeating the Frost Dragon—a divine beast of the Empress—with such overwhelming force that it couldn't even retaliate. Luo Qinghan, once proud and scornful, was filled with regret and despair, only to find herself bound by Su Bai through a slave contract that turned her into his personal "cat thrall." Meanwhile, Lin Wan'er, his gentle and kind junior sister, became his new partner. Together, they fought side by side in an apocalyptic world overrun by demonic invaders. Su Bai thrived in battle, using each fight to fuel his strength. Against all odds, he crossed ranks and vanquished a Rank 7 Demon King. When chaos erupted in the Beast Tamer Sect, he uncovered the Grand Elder's treacherous plot to ally with the demons. In the climactic showdown, Su Bai devoured the Rank 8 Demon Emperor, amassing an unimaginable amount of spiritual energy—over ten billion units—and awakened his true form as an ancient mythical beast, the Taotie. With one earth-shattering gulp, he consumed the Rank 9 Demon Sovereign, ending the war in one fell swoop. As the story concluded, Su Bai sat atop the back of a mighty dragon, with the once-proud Empress, now reborn and humbled, on one side and the sect's most beautiful woman on the other. Gazing down at the world below, he had ascended far beyond the limits of Rank 9, becoming a name immortalized in legend, echoing across generations.
