John was torn between guilt over a past loss and paternity doubts. Olivia investigated and uncovered Emma's scheme.

Together, they exposed her and proved the child was not John's. Emma finally admitted she was wrong and left. John let go of his past emotional baggage. With honesty and understanding, their marriage started fresh and stronger than ever.
