Summary notes
For love, Gu Qingyun defied the control of his own family—the most powerful clan in Yun city—to marry Su Hua. But his defiance came at a cost. Their union became a target for Su Yaoyao, the adopted daughter of the Su family, who harbored malicious intentions. She orchestrated a car accident and framed Su Hua for the murder of Gu's mother.
She further conspired by falsely accusing Su of plotting an assassination against Gu Qingyun, and even exploited a kidney transplant operation for profit, deepening Gu's misunderstandings after he was injured. Unrelenting, Su Yaoyao engineered a situation where Su Hua was discovered alone with her boyfriend, Qi Xiaotian. Consumed by rage, Gu Qingyun impulsively had Su Hua imprisoned, leaving her fate perilously uncertain.
