Sean, the Falcone family's top cleaner and the godfather's chosen lifelong protector for his granddaughter Chloe, endures years of her arrogance. To please her lover Julian, Chloe shoves Sean's seventy-year-old father into an underground colosseum to be devoured by lions. Sean swallows his rage, plants surveillance with his broken body as bait, and catches them red-handed crossing the family's unforgivable lines. Iron-fisted godfather Carmine descends: Chloe is stripped of her inheritance; Julian is thrown in chains.

Sean tears up his contract and flees to Alaska, finding redemption in the warmth of a guide named Elsa and the northern lights. Chloe loses her legs in gang warfare, crawls back begging Sean to return — and is utterly ignored. Justice served. Silence speaks louder than screams.
