Disguised and incognito, Raven, Supreme Elf King, dwelled among the Grey Elves for a three-year vow as Queen Cassie’s nominal consort. For three years, Cassie treated him like a menial servant, openly flirting with guard Mark and humiliating him in public. When orc hordes invaded, Cassie shoved the battle-worn Raven forward to take a blade, sacrificing him to save Mark. Recovering from grave wounds, a heartbroken Raven left to reclaim his throne. Cassie brought Mark to the elves’ welcoming feast, mocking Raven, convinced he appeared only to embarrass her.

Shock crashed over her when someone revealed his true identity. Without Raven’s protection, the Grey Elves faced cut-off supplies and chaos. Burdened by crises, Cassie found Mark whined endlessly. She wept over Raven’s old robes and tried to win him back — yet he already had another. Her arrogance and shallowness cost her everything.
