Summary notes
Meliora’s mom vanished a decade ago. Billionaire dad blames her, adopts Corinne—mom’s lookalike—and spoils her rotten, publicly disowning Meliora as a maid’s kid.
On her 18th birthday, Corinne steals her late mom’s heirloom necklace, shatters it live on stream, and taunts her to drown herself. Broken and hopeless, Meliora jumps into the lake—only for her long-lost, wealthy mom to return, ready to avenge her wronged daughter.
