The male lead, a prodigy already at the Tribulation Stage, was unmatched in the world. To keep him humble, his master tricked him into believing he was mortal and sent him down the mountain. Unaware of his true strength, he accidentally saves the heroine, and they join forces.

Facing danger and hardship together, he gradually learns that true cultivation lies in refining heart and character. Ultimately, he realizes his power has long made him invincible, but his duty is to protect the people.
