Summary notes

Charlotte Layton’s ordinary world is shattered the moment she meets Cassius Fassbinder. After a car accident robs him of his memory, Charlotte, mocked by her fiancé and stepsister, impulsively claims him as her boyfriend.

What starts as a bold defense soon turns into genuine care, as she shelters the vulnerable man who seems to need her more than anyone else. Their bond deepens, but with every piece of Cassius’s memory that returns, the truth of his powerful identity looms larger.
