Blair met Hayden, a wealthy campus heartthrob, online. After an allergic reaction left her disfigured, he slapped her, called her a liar, and blocked her. Her roommate Lucy stole Blair's photos and impersonated her to keep dating Hayden. When Blair enrolled at the same university, Hayden was stunned by her beauty, unaware she was the "ugly girl."

Lucy passed herself off as Blair while secretly sabotaging her, and Blair was unknowingly caught in the identity swap. Noah, the school board chairman's son, helped her. Blair regained her confidence, exposed the truth, and made Hayden kneel and beg her to love him again.
