Summary notes

A rift with her father led Thea into the arms of Danny, her apparent rescuer, only for her to find him entangled in a web of deception with her stepsister. Devastated, she married Felix, a supposed vegetative patient, who was, in fact, feigning illness out of his long-held secret love for her.

As Thea and Felix's bond deepened, Danny had a sudden realization that he had loved her all along, and further discovered that the life-saving favor from years ago had been fabricated, but all of this was ultimately beyond remedy.
