Mistaken for a junior, Olivia Mouser accidentally injured her husband, Gardner Stanton's mother, leaving her paralyzed. The relationship between them broke down, and Olivia was reduced to a barmaid then.

She endures humiliation for three years to save her brother, who is being controlled by Gardner. Eventually, Gardner asks her to spend one night with her client in exchange for her brother's freedom.
