Beth and Nate were once deeply in love but parted due to a misunderstanding. Beth went abroad alone and raised their child by herself. Five years later, they reunited. Nate still loved Beth intensely but mistakenly believed she had married and started a family, leaving him torn between affection and resentment, unable to fully forgive her yet drawn to her nonetheless.

Beth, thinking Nate was about to marry someone else and begin a new life, avoided disrupting his peace and suppressed her own feelings for him. As they struggled with their emotions, both gradually realized the depth of their hearts and the unbreakable bond between them. In the end, they cleared the misunderstandings and reunited as a family.
