"In her previous life, Lin Xinlan was killed by her husband and his mistress. After being reborn, she begins her quest for revenge. She meets Ji Tingbai, who has just returned to the country. Lin Xinlan mistakenly believes Ji Tingbai is a male escort at a hotel. Lin Xinlan starts to make her plans. She hires Ji Tingbai with a high salary of fifty thousand per month, promising him a reward of ten million after the job is done. She wants him to pretend to seduce Shen Zhiqing, leading her into a love trap, making Shen Zhiqing fall under his control, and ultimately forcing her to return the money she took.

Ji Tingbai, who has secretly admired Lin Xinlan, agrees to help her. He not only wants to get closer to Lin Xinlan, but also help her break free from her unhappy marriage. However, he makes one condition: after everything is over, Lin Xinlan must fulfill one request of his. Lin Xinlan promises that as long as it is within her ability and does not violate any laws or morals, she will agree. The two then begin to work together. Ji Tingbai’s secretary, Qi Shen, is shocked. How could the heir to the Ji Group, a prominent figure, stoop to seducing a morally corrupt mistress? Ji Tingbai tells Qi Shen to keep it confidential. Under Lin Xinlan’s guidance, she carefully packages Ji Tingbai and provides him with all the information she has gathered on Shen Zhiqing. Ji Tingbai approaches Shen Zhiqing, and with his handsome appearance, wealth, and gentle lies, he quickly makes her fall for him. Ji Tingbai starts leading Shen Zhiqing to invest in real estate and stocks. Shen Zhiqing, thinking she has found a super-rich man, decides to kick out her previous lover, Hao Jian. To avoid Hao Jian’s harassment, Shen Zhiqing exposes his criminal activities, ruining his reputation. Just when Shen Zhiqing believes she can be with Ji Tingbai, reality strikes her hard. Lin Xinlan reveals to her that Ji Tingbai was part of her plan all along, and that everything was carefully orchestrated by Lin Xinlan. Unable to handle the shock, Shen Zhiqing goes mad. After completing her revenge, Lin Xinlan pays Ji Tingbai as promised. Ji Tingbai asks Lin Xinlan to fulfill the original agreement. Just when Lin Xinlan wonders what his request might be, Ji Tingbai bravely proposes to her and confesses his love for her over the years. Lin Xinlan then realizes that Ji Tingbai is the true wealthy and powerful man. During their time together, she has already fallen deeply in love with him, and she happily agrees to his proposal. In the end, they live happily ever after. "
