Mira, a rebellious teenager, is sent to a correctional institute by her parents. Three years later, she becomes "Unit 1314," a lifeless drone that obeys every command. Her AI sister Ella schemes to turn the family against her, and when her brother angrily orders her to die, Mira jumps from a balcony but survives.

Her remorseful family helps her heal. Later, Mira joins a charity and discovers that Vire Corporation's new "Perfect Family" system is secretly harming other children.
