I was never your wife

To follow her husband Marcus, Claire abandoned her career and life in New York and moved to London, enduring three years of hardship. Never granted a valid residence permit, she accidentally discovered their marriage held no legal standing at all. Marcus, in collusion with his assistant Jade, seized the spousal benefits and resources meant for her while treating her with constant neglect and favoritism.

Brokenhearted, Claire chose to leave resolutely. After the truth came to light, Marcus, who had recklessly betrayed her sincere love, was trapped in endless regret and futile searching.
