Eleanor Bennett, a wealthy middle-aged tycooness, has long been estranged from her son Ethan due to her early career sacrifices. Refusing to reconcile with him, she stages her own fake funeral, hoping to rekindle their bond and pass down her billion-dollar fortune. At the funeral, Ethan is overcome with grief. But his in-laws show up in bright red dresses to humiliate him.

They demand he sell the burial plot, sign a massive IOU, and even use a fake pregnancy as blackmail. Hidden inside the coffin, Eleanor witnesses all this. She emerges angrily, revealing her identity as the business magnate to back her son and confront the greedy in-laws. Ethan sees his wife Madison Carter’s true colors, divorces her, and takes over his mother’s business empire.
