Ava finds her bridesmaid Olivia wearing the same white dress and using her makeup artist on wedding morning. She demands fiancé Ethan fix it or she'll cancel. Flashbacks reveal Ethan forced Olivia into the bridal party, Olivia sang a duet with him, and ruined Ava's shoes. At the ceremony, Ethan's family humiliates Ava with degrading rituals — making her crawl, tearing her dress. Ava calls off the wedding in front of everyone and leaves. She checks Ethan's phone and learns they planned the humiliation a week in advance.

Ethan knew and did nothing. He begs, Olivia confesses her love, but Ava ends the engagement. Even his parents can't change her mind. After the waiting period, the marriage is officially canceled. Ava walks away from five years and starts a new life.
