Returning from abroad, Evelyn Carrington witnesses her family being massacred. The killer is the Lawson family's eldest daughter, a self-proclaimed transmigrator determined to wipe out all Carrington women. Seeking revenge, Evelyn schemes to get close to Marshal Peyton Bennett.

However, Peyton Bennett recognizes her as his childhood savior and willingly lets her use him. Ultimately, Evelyn exposes the transmigrator, gets her revenge, and finds true love with Peyton Bennett.
