Summary notes

Madeleine fakes pregnancy when fiancé Benjamin vanishes for five months, then returns with a "medieval time-traveling wife." She counters by claiming a matriarchal realm journey with consort Cedric.

Pressured by elders and bribed parents to reconcile, she instead uses evidence of Benjamin's fraud to publicly expose him, reclaim her stolen career, and accept Cedric's lasting love.
