Sanda coach Su Ling accidentally traveled back to the ancient Xuan Kingdom and encountered the current Empress and the Princess while they were bathing. Using his knowledge of Xuan Kingdom's history, which he had read about during his humanities studies, Su Ling convinced the Empress that he had come from the future.

With his intelligence and wit, he helped the Empress overcome various challenges. In the end, both the Empress and the Princess all admired him.
