Reborn as an infant in a world of undead, Seraphina Laurent finds an unlikely guardian, Silas Locke, a zombie who raises her as his own. Together they fight evolved zombies and mutants in ruined Oceana. Meanwhile, Hecate gains a deadly gift: each death makes her stronger.
