After fifty years in a monster-infested world, Master Hunter Lu Feng trusted his six disciples like sons. On a final mission to slay a Class-A fiend, they repaid his loyalty with betrayal—pushing him into the monster’s jaws as supplies ran out. With his arms torn off and life fading, his last act was a bite of bitter vengeance: he swallowed the fiend’s flesh and awoke. He rose from death, young again, armed with a monstrous power: Odd Devour. By consuming fiends, he could steal their abilities. Meanwhile, his disciples were celebrated as heroes. Now, under a new name, Lu Feng walks a solitary path of retribution. He enters the hunting trials not to join, but to expose. He ventures into the bloody mist, growing stronger with each fiend he eats—gaining control over shadow, fire, and puppet. He becomes a legend, and a wanted man.

One by one, he finds his former disciples. He engineers their ends to mirror their sins: the greedy dies by greed, the ruthless by ruthlessness, the guilty by their own guilt. When he finally confronts the mastermind, he unveils a crime darker than betrayal: the breeding of fiends with human lives. With revenge complete and the dimensional rift sealed, Lu Feng is swept back to the modern world he once left. He thinks the nightmare is over. Then, the sky darkens. The bloody mist returns. The fiends are here. And the hunter is ready.
