Lorraine, a top student from Massachusetts, was forced out with nothing by her unfaithful ex-husband, Balka. Desperate, she became stepmother to the youngest daughter of Mafia Don Rossi. With gentleness and wisdom, she healed traumatized Leia and melted Rossi’s icy heart. They entered a marriage of convenience, and Rossi showered Lorain with affection.

He publicly humiliated her ex-husband, who tried to force a reconciliation, at a banquet, and used his influence to bankrupt Balka Capital. After many crises, including assassination attempts, Lorraine gave birth to her second child and left high society to return to finance. Relying on her own skills, she began a new chapter of independence and a remarkable comeback.
