On their wedding anniversary, Stella discovers her husband Marc has been cheating. His mistress, Haley, repeatedly provokes her, and Marc abuses her core patent and uses her black card to please Haley. Heartbroken, Stella divorces him and joins a classified research project, where she meets the project leader William.
When she takes back her patents and exposes Marc's scandal, Haley even tries to kidnap her, only to be stopped by William. Months later, Stella is back with a new identity and a new job as CTO, free from Marc and Haley, who are sent to prison.
