After three years of a loveless contract marriage, Cheryl gets divorce papers from husband Jarred the day she learns she is pregnant. His fake savior Ines causes her miscarriage, so Cheryl leaves to build a successful design career.

When Jarred learns Cheryl was his real childhood rescuer, he chases her, and they reconcile after his blinding car crash and Cheryl saving him.
