Ten-year-old Odric, a scion of the Morvin family’s collateral branch, was falsely branded a mute magical failure and exiled with his ill mother. After her death, he returns—silent and underestimated—yet secretly hosts the soul of dark wizard Malogos, having mastered forbidden spells for seven years. Scorned by his kin but noticed by the patriarch, he dazzles the archmage Emery with space arrays, elemental anomalies, and time reversal.
His leaking magic awes Queen Victoria and Merlin. At the royal gala, family still mocks him, but Odric breaks his silence as mages bow, confronting the queen to begin his reckoning.
